Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing This Year

Top Ten SantaTop Ten Tuesday: Hosted by the Broke and the Bookish!

CHRISTMAS IS ONLY TWO DAYS AWAY. Christmas isn’t really a huge thing in my family, especially not since my family only really consists of… me, and my mum. We’re going to a Christmas party hosted by one of our family friends this year though, so that should be fun! But I already had a nice Christmas dinner with my friends… a few weeks ago. Two of my friends roasted some amazing pork and another friend made the best salted caramel and chocolate torte IN THE WORLD. It was awesome. I want to go back and eat that torte all over again.

Anyway, I don’t really think I’m going to receive any books as presents, but just in case Santa is thinking of bringing me anything… Here we go!bells-icon

holly-leaf-iconThe backgrounds were meant to look like wrapping paper, but I’m not sure if it has the intended effect… Anyway, these are the books on my wishlist this year!

What books are on your wishlist? Do you celebrate Christmas, and if so, what do you normally do on Christmas day? ARE YOU EXCITED?

I LIKE THE GRAPHICS! And yeah, I would love ANY of these books even though I vaguely heard of them. I would love to read Vicious, BUT I WANT TO READ HER NEWEST BOOK A Darker Shade of Magic (I think that’s what it’s called?) but it doesn’t come out until Feb. 😦

Nice list!!! AND MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🙂

I really want to read A Darker Shade of Magic too! IT SOUNDS SO FAB. I fucking adore London-based urban fantasy stories. I just can't get enough of them. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL FEBRUARY.

Great list. There’s quite a few on here that I really want to read myself, a few are new to me but will now be finding themselves on my TBR list! 🙂 Vicious and The Art of Wishing are two books I have heard really amazing things about. I hope you find at least some of these under your tree this year 🙂 Here’s my TTT

Yeah, Vicious! I wanna read ALLLLL of Schwab’s books. I heard good things about the sequel to The Art of Wishing especially so I thought I really need to read the first book! Glad you’ve found more books to add to the neverending TBR list, haha.

The cover of Openly Straight was so catching! And it looks like such a fun/witty read. I recognized some of these books but I don’t know what they’re about. Merry Christmas!

I’m late to commenting on this, sorry! REALLY looking forward to reading I’ll Give You the Sun! So excited! Did you get any books for Christmas? I received The Complete Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Anderson, Blood of Dragons by Robin Hobb, and a Reading Journal! 🙂 Pretty happy!

    • Cynthia @ Afterwritten 30 December 2014 / 2:51 am

I didn’t receive any books for Christmas, but I am going to get a Kindle at last! I’ve only been using my iPhone to read eBooks until now, so I’m really excited about getting a Kindle.

Yeah, I’m so excited about I’ll Give You the Sun! I’m waiting for the paperback to come out in April, I think. I hope you enjoy the book. (:
